POLICIES, PROCEDURES, & GUIDELINES:
Prior to participating, participants should review the SCGA’s Policies & Procedures.
FORMAT:
- 36 holes (18 each day); four-ball net stroke play.
- Two-person teams will represent each side.
- Playing Handicaps will be determined based on 85% of each player’s Course Handicap.
- Teams will be placed into four flights based on the combined team Handicap Indexes as of Monday, April 28.
- All teams will play both courses.
- Awards will be given to those who finish in 1st through 5th place per flight. Ties will be broken using the USGA suggested method of matching scorecards (Committee Procedures: Section 5A (6)).
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
- Call the golf shop at (760) 324-9400 and identify yourself as a participant in this event.
- Practice rounds are restricted to after 12 p.m. if booking more than three days in advance. Earlier times may be available if booked within three days of play. $150 includes cart and access to practice facilities.

REGISTRATION:
All participants must check in at the SCGA registration table located at the Palms Patio beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:
- Starting holes and pairings will be emailed to players and posted online at scga.org one week in advance of the championship.
- Shotgun starts at 7:30 a.m. each day. Groups will be re-paired for Round 2 based on Round 1 results.

DRIVING RANGE:
The driving range will open by 6:30 a.m. on each day of the championship.
FOOD SERVICE AND PURCHASES:
- The snack bar and beverage carts will be available for food and beverage purchases. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted for all purchases.
- The SCGA will host a luncheon during the award ceremony for all participants on Thursday, after Round 2. Players are on their own for other meals.

RULES OF PLAY:
- The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and The R&A govern play.
- Local Rules and Terms of the Competition can be found on the SCGA Hard Card and the Notice to Players.

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION, PULL/PUSH CARTS:
- Golf carts are included in each team’s entry fee.
- There is a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart. Players wishing to ride will be expected to share a cart with another player.
- Each player is entitled to one seat in a cart. If a player brings a caddie, the caddie may ride provided there is a vacant seat in one of the carts. Otherwise, either the player or the caddie must walk.
- Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).
- Pull or push carts are permitted.
CADDIES & SPECTATORS:
- Players may provide their own caddie (see section on Golf Carts).
- Spectators are permitted but are not allowed in carts. Spectators must adhere to all policies set forth by the club.
DRESS CODE:
Appropriate golf attire must be worn, including adhering to any club-specific policies.
CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS:
- To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of a SCGA competition, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at champs@scga.org.
- Failure to notify the SCGA will subject the player to suspension from future SCGA competitions.
- Refund Policy:
- Cancellation prior to the entry closing date: Full refund less a $20 administrative fee.
- Cancellation after the entry closing date and more than 48 hours prior to the start of the competition: 50% of the entry fee.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of the start of the competition: No refund.
